Virtual Workshop for Systems Biology
December
18, 2007
eIMBL(electronic
International Molecular Biology Laboratory)
eIMBL
Systems Biology Laboratory will host the 2007 Virtual Workshop for Systems
Biology in
Tapping
an advanced
internet networking capabilities or AccessGrid Technology, this
workshop will be broadcast through AccessGrid. The AccessGrid creates an
environment that allows participants to feel as if they are engaged personally
rather than in the stiff structured environment of a typical videoconference. As
participants at all AccessGrid Locations can ask questions directly to the
speakers, we
expect this will be a good occasion for researchers or students of eIMBL member
labs to learn about systems biology.
We expect most of the participating
students to utilize Access Grid node technology (http://www.accessgrid.org/). We are willing and prepared to
provide technical consultation to assist in your participation. (AccessGrid?s Global node list: http://www.agcentral.org/nodes)
After presentation of all lectures,
we will have a moderated question and answer session. Each participant will be
given the opportunity to ask questions during this time through Access Grid
node.
